Sara Ruger got started in insurance from the other side of the desk. “I visited my insurance agency—as a customer—to start a new policy,” she explains. “But the owner reached out after to say he thought I’d be great at it!” As a Personal Lines Agent at KS since 2019, she enjoys building trusting relationships, educating clients, “and of course—saving them money!” She feels at home here because, “I love being part of an organization that is all about community outreach and giving back.” A particular highlight for her is when she gets referrals from existing clients. “It shows how much trust they really have in you!”

My favorite thing about helping customers is building that trusting relationship.
