Originally hailing from Rochester, NH, Kaley Gagne began working for the Lilac City’s Chamber of Commerce in high school. Feeling immediately at home making connections and helping local businesses, she worked full time in banking as she enrolled in college. She steadily climbed the ranks and was named Branch Manager by graduation day. She joined the Kennebunk Savings team in 2021 and immediately demonstrated a knack for building strong relationships with local businesses. “The business community in the Seacoast is very special. I’d say the biggest strength is the strong sense of local support – people genuinely want to see businesses thrive and succeed,” Kaley says. “There is a great mix of industries from restaurants and hospitality to maritime and industrial complexes. There are so many opportunities to connect with locals through various groups, community events, and volunteering.”

Kaley also serves as the president of Catapult Seacoast, a networking group for young professionals. “Catapult Seacoast is all about leadership development, connections, and making the Seacoast a great place for young professionals to succeed. My favorite part of leading the group is being connected to young professionals that are going to be the next generation of leaders within our community – often, their first connections come from Catapult!”

The quality of life being in this close-knit community makes it an attractive place for entrepreneurs.
