Chris MacDonnell

Chris MacDonnell likes coming to work. He likes being a member of a dynamic team. “Working together can generate some really amazing outcomes,” he says. “I really like to focus on the strengths of our team members to create a customer experience that sets Kennebunk Savings apart from other institutions.”

Chris has a long career in banking and cash management, and he found Kennebunk Savings to be a great fit for his talents because of the bank’s deep community roots. “I really love the fact that our mutuality allows us to support the organizations that are the backbone of our community. I worked at a much larger intuition in the past, and much prefer working at an organization like Kennebunk Savings that focuses so many resources (financial and volunteer) on leaving the community better than how we found it.

When Chris isn’t working or volunteering, he enjoys travelling and just about anything that gets him out on the water. He also loves getting to know his customers and understand their individual needs. “Providing solutions is very rewarding.”

I really enjoy how different each day is. Sometimes I start the day volunteering for a nonprofit and finish with helping a customer resolve a complex financial situation.
