Kennebunk Savings, a mutual banking institution headquartered in Kennebunk, Maine, has announced that Paul D. Gurney of Alfred has been elected to its Board of Directors.
According to President and CEO, Bradford C. Paige, “Paul comes to us with a strong technical background and I am very happy that he has agreed to join the Board. His expertise will add to existing resources to ensure prudent oversight of our IT, cyber and risk management practices. Paul recognizes user experience is paramount, which aligns well with the emphasis we place on the customer experience at Kennebunk Savings.”
Gurney is a software architect/developer and the founder of Expression Computing. Expression is a software company known for Trove, a knowledge management platform designed to increase productivity and accelerate sales for mid-to-large companies. Gurney has also worked in a variety of capacities in web development for companies such as Southern Maine Health Care and Fairchild. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he studied Architecture and the University of Georgia where he studied Multimedia.
