Your New Visa® Debit Card is Coming Soon!


When you get your new debit card:

ACTIVATE:  Call 866-665-8725 to set your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and activate your new Visa debit card. If you already have our Kennebunk Savings mobile app, you can activate your card through the app by navigating to Cards, locating your new card in the carousal, and clicking “Activate Card”. To complete the activation, enter the expiration date and the three-digit code on the back of your new Visa card. Then enter your new PIN.

SIGN: Sign your new card immediately. Your card is not valid until you do.

UPDATE: Update automatic payments (like E-ZPass and streaming services) and your digital wallet (you can find instructions about how to add and remove cards from your digital wallet here)

Frequently Asked Questions

I know other people have gotten their new Visa debit card already, where’s mine?

Visa is issuing the new cards in batches and will be mailing them out over the course of a week. In some cases, even people living in the same household may receive their cards on different days.  If you have not received your card yet, you should soon.  If you do not receive your new card by November 18th, please give us a call.

I was just reissued a new Visa debit card, why did I get a new one in the mail?

If you were issued a new Visa debit card recently because yours was lost, damaged or there was a fraud concern, you do not need to activate the card that came in the mail, instead, please destroy it.

Why am I getting a new debit card?

Kennebunk Savings is switching from Mastercard to Visa to provide contactless debit cards that are more secure and convenient to use.

What are the benefits of my new Visa debit card?

Your new Visa debit card is contactless which is more secure than other forms of payment. It’s also really convenient. Once activated, you can hover or tap your card at the checkout terminal and the transaction will be complete in just seconds!  It’s as easy as that!

Should I start using my new Visa debit card now?

Yes! To begin using your new contactless Visa debit card, simply follow the instructions on the card mailer to activate.  Once activated, please remember to securely dispose of your old Mastercard debit card. The best way to dispose of your card is by shredding it with a shredder or cutting it making sure you cut through your name, card number and chip, if there is one.

Does my new debit card have a new number?

Yes, your new Visa debit card has a new number and a new expiration date.  Please update any automatic payments you may have set up with your Mastercard debit card (streaming services, subscriptions, bills, E-ZPass, etc…) with your new Visa debit card number.

Do I need to re-establish my recurring or automatic payments?

Yes, if you use your card for recurring or automatic payments, we suggest you update your card on file with those merchants such as streaming services, person-to-person payment services like Zelle®, and EZPass. If you are enrolled in our Mobile Banking, you can view the merchants that have your card on file for recurring or automatic payments right in the app!
