Kennebunk Savings has donated a parcel of land to Avesta Housing to develop affordable senior housing in Kennebunk. The parcel is located behind Kennebunk Savings Operations Center located at 7 Alewive Park Road. The land is currently zoned as industrial and needs to be voted in by Kennebunk residents to change the contract zone to allow the project to be built for affordable senior housing.
On Monday, September 18, 2023, Kennebunk Savings hosted a ‘neighborhood meeting’ for abutters of the land at the Operations Center to discuss the project and answer any questions. As part of the meeting, renderings and the conceptual map developed by Sebago Technics were reviewed (included below).
