How was your summer? Here’s some of what the Kennebunk Savings crew got up to!
Our annual tradition: We kicked off the summer with our annual all-employee Backyard BBQ. This year it was carnival-themed and catered by a fleet of delicious local food trucks! We played games and we handed out prizes, as well as our annual Cultural Excellence award, which went to Irene, our Senior Deposit Services Specialist (and office decorator extraordinaire).
Volunteering: We know that at Kennebunk Savings, volunteerism is a year-round effort. But the calendar is always packed with events in the summer months and we were out in full force. Each year we also pitch in for the United Way of Southern Maine’s Day of Action — on that day we raised small armies of volunteers for the Seashore Trolley Museum and York Community Service Association!
Pride Month: This year’s Pride Month events were coordinated by our Pride Employee Resource Group! Pride events are always so much fun in our vibrant communities!
Hellos and Goodbyes! This summer we welcomed five new folks to our Board of Directors! We also had several retirement parties for longtime employees, where we could all share memories and well-wishes.
Customer Appreciation Days! We grilled, we served pancakes, and we ate a lot of cookies. Our Customer Appreciation Days are some of our favorite events of the summer.
We had a great summer, and now we’re ready for fall!
