What guides us

The values we embrace every day

We believe that helping one another is always the right thing to do. Our core values of Trust, Integrity, Proactive, and Empathy help us achieve that.
About Us

Featured Value: Proactive

Every few months we’ll feature one of our core values as defined by the people who live them every day, our employees.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion logo

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council at Kennebunk Savings was created to bring cultural awareness through training and action. Whether it’s through supporting our nonprofit partners with volunteers or event sponsorships or educating our employees to be more acknowledging, embracing, supporting, and accepting towards a more equitable future of work. We want to celebrate all that makes us unique!

ERG’s are a way for our employees who have something in common to help each other grow professionally and be supported. Two of our first and active ERG’s are the Women’s Collective and PRIDE-both employee led groups! What ERG would you want to be a part of?

Values and Engagement Committee logoLike to be involved? The Values and Engagement Committee’s goal is to promote and support a healthy, active and engaged employee culture. This group of employees play a role in helping with onsite employee events and activities, providing feedback about various topics to internal stakeholders/departments and brainstorming and executing programs like our internal recognition program, something we continue to evolve thanks to our engaged employees!

Our Wellness Coach is available at no cost to meet with all employees (if they choose) to learn about and help them with their health goals? It’s just one of the many of our favorite benefits.

Leadership opportunities at Kennebunk Savings

Launched in 2019, the Kennebunk Savings Leadership Academy is a concentrated, defined effort by the Bank to develop future leaders for all levels of the institution.

Kennebunk Savings offers two separate, two-year programs (Emerging and Advancing Leaders) for those selected to the Leadership Academy, but it is not the only path to leadership roles, training and experience here at the bank! We continue to expand our internal training programs and always keep an eye out for outside opportunities.

There are many reasons why I love working for Kennebunk Savings, but if I had to pick just one I would say I’m proud to work for a company that celebrates and promotes diversity and allows us all to be our true selves. Carlos Maldonado VP, Retail Experience Manager, Hampton
