Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce that Carlos Maldonado of Raymond, New Hampshire has joined the company as Vice President, Branch Manager and Mortgage Lender for its Portsmouth office. Maldonado’s responsibilities will include promoting the Bank’s financial services, working with mortgage applicants and overseeing the Portsmouth office team as well as the overall performance of the banking office.
Maldonado began his career in banking as a Teller in 1999 working for Massachusetts banks where he worked his way up to the positions of Store Manager and Financial Services Manager. He later moved to New Hampshire where he worked as a 401K Client Service Manager and a Staffing Executive before joining Kennebunk Savings.
According to Senior Vice President and Senior Retail Banking Officer Brendan Markey, “We are pleased to have Carlos on board. His customer-focused expertise and enthusiasm will make him a great fit in the Portsmouth office.”
Maldonado is a graduate of Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg, MA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and continued his education at New England College of Business and Finance where he received his master’s degree in Finance. Throughout his career he has volunteered at organizations including the Merrimack Valley YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, the Merrimack Valley and Peabody Chambers of Commerce, as well as various local toy drives and food pantries.
