Kennebunk Savings officials joined members of the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce, guests from the community, customers and vendors to open its newest location in Stratham, New Hampshire. The newly constructed building is located at 9 Portsmouth Avenue, at the intersection of Routes 108 and 101, making it a convenient and easy-to-access site. Formerly the site of a gas station, this office is Kennebunk Savings’ sixth branch in New Hampshire and nineteenth in its York County, Maine and seacoast New Hampshire network.
According to Kennebunk Savings President and CEO, Bradford C. Paige, “We are excited to put roots down in Stratham. We’ve found that we’re already busy with existing customers who have another convenient location to access us and with new customers, who we know will quickly understand the value of a Kennebunk Savings relationship. With our unique blend of products, responsive customer service and an unparalleled commitment to our communities, we’re very excited about our newest venture into the Stratham market.”
To mark the branch opening, Kennebunk Savings contributed $1,000 through its Community Promise program to the NHSPCA in Stratham. The Community Promise program is Kennebunk Savings’ commitment to serving its community; each year Kennebunk Savings pledges 10% of earnings to local nonprofit organizations. Since 1994, that has resulted in over $11,000,000 in donations to area nonprofits. Part of Kennebunk Savings’ commitment through its Community Promise also includes volunteering and in 2017 employees spent over 10,000 hours working to better the community.
Vice President and Branch Manager Kelly Hutchinson will lead the Stratham team that includes Assistant Branch Manager, Ieva Watson, and small business lender, Ryan Pope.
