What to do if you suspect suspicious activity on your account
- Call Kennebunk Savings. If you suspect suspicious activity on your account, please call us immediately at 800.339.6573. We may review your account activity and determine the appropriate next steps to secure your account(s). Do the same with any other company where the fraud may have occurred.
- Contact Credit Bureaus. Contact one of the credit bureaus and request a fraud alert, which will make it more difficult for someone to open an account in your name. You only need to contact one bureau, they are required to inform the other two of the fraud alert.Request a copy of your consumer credit report from each of the above credit bureaus by visiting annualcreditreport.com or calling 877-322-8228. Carefully review your credit reports for fraudulent activity. Write down any account or transaction that you don’t recognize.

3. Contact Authorities. Report fraudulent activity to the FTC by visiting IdentityTheft.gov. Share any information you have about how your account may have been compromised and any suspicious activity on your account(s) and credit reports.
Contact your local police department to file a report.
